We connect you to your provider to collect your documents from that provider. This connection can only exist based on a unique key such as your account number for that specific provider. However, we’ve learned that it’s not easy to track or remember that number. Besides, every provider has a specific way of numbering, so very soon you have a proliferation of different ID numbers.
Fortunately there are other, easier ways to identify yourself at your provider through data you can find easier. Indeed they have some data about you that can easily be used as a unique reference; such as a bank account number, VAT number, social security number, phone number, license plate, etc. As soon as you add this information in POM, we will be able to collect your documents as well. And because families or companies often have more bank account numbers, you can always fill in more references per type. It’s perfectly possible that we collect your energy invoices by using one bank account number and your telecom invoice by using another, depending on which number is known by that provider.
Your data is stored safely by POM, in case you worry about that. We use it for nothing but to ease the use of POM for you and to ensure you can collect your documents correctly. We guarantee that this data will not be used for any other purpose!
